The Wellington Phoenix Academy is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated Residential Football Camp, launching from January 13 to January 17, 2025. Set across the world-class NZCIS campus in Trentham and the Academy training grounds at Fraser Park, Lower Hutt, this immersive camp provides a unique opportunity for New Zealand’s young players to experience elite football training and a firsthand look at the life of a professional athlete.
This exclusive camp is open to aspiring players born between 2009 and 2012 for the residential programme and 2009 – 2016 for the non-residential option. The week promises more than just training: Players will have the unforgettable experience of watching the Wellington Phoenix Men’s and Women’s A-League teams in action and receive complimentary tickets to see Wellington Phoenix Men’s battle Sydney FC at Sky Stadium.
Camp Overview
The five-day camp is crafted to push boundaries and build skills, offering a transformative environment for players to grow under the guidance of Wellington Phoenix Academy’s expert coaches. Through intensive daily sessions, tactical workshops, match scenarios, and off-pitch workshops, players will elevate their skills, deepen their game understanding, and gain insights into professional football.
