Camp Overview
Start 2025 with an extraordinary opportunity in football development at the Wellington Phoenix Academy premium football camp. This camp, taking place from January 13 – January 17, 2025, provides young athletes a dynamic setting to build essential skills, gain practical game knowledge, and experience life as an aspiring professional footballer. Guided by our Academy coaching team, campers will participate in advanced training sessions, tactical workshops, and match scenarios, all designed to elevate their game.
Location
The camp combines boarding at the NZCIS Campus in Trentham with training sessions at our dedicated grounds at Fraser Park—ideal facilities for an immersive, professional experience.
Who Can Join
This programme is open to footballers born between 2009 – 2012 (residential) and 2009 – 2015 (non-residential). It is ideal for motivated U12 – U16 players from across New Zealand who are eager to refine their skills and train within a structured, high-performance environment.

Campers have the unique opportunity to observe Wellington Phoenix men’s and women’s A-League training sessions and receive complimentary tickets to watch the men’s team compete against Sydney FC at Sky Stadium.
