Greetings, I am Joshua Neff, Head of Coaching and Head Coach of the U-19s at Wellington Phoenix. In January, my wife Elanor, our three children, and I relocated from the United States to Wellington. With extensive experience coaching MLS teams such as Chicago Fire, New England Revolution, FC Cincinnati, and Spanish club Levante UD, I bring a wealth of expertise centred on collaboration and continuous learning. 

My primary objective is to support the professional development of the coaches at Wellington Phoenix, enabling them to grow, inspire, and achieve their full potential. As the coaches advance, so do the players joining our academy.

By embracing a philosophy that emphasises the importance of nurturing and understanding each individual’s unique journey, I want to assist in helping Wellington Phoenix become the premier destination for players and coaches.
