Meet Johnny Thompson, the Head Analyst for the Women’s Reserves Football Team at the Wellington Phoenix Academy. Johnny brings a wealth of experience in sports analysis, having worked closely with teams nationwide, as well as with the Samoa Football Federation and Cook Islands National teams. He specializes in providing video analysis and data-driven insights to enhance player performance. With degrees in Sport Coaching and Performance Analysis, and Information Science, Johnny effectively combines his passion for sports with advanced analytical techniques to foster player development and elevate performance standards throughout the academy.
