Notable Alumni
Our alumni have gone on to make significant impacts in the world of football and beyond. Here are some of our standout graduates:
- Liberato Cacace: Libby played youth football in Wellington, then for the Phoenix, before moving to Belgian side Sint-Truidense. Libby now plays professionally in Italy at Empoli FC.
- Macey Fraser: After graduating from the Phoenix academy, Macey signed a three-year pro contract with the Wellington Phoenix. After Macey’s breakout rookie season, she secured a dream move to one of the world’s top leagues (the National Women’s Soccer League) with the Utah Royals on a multi-year deal.
- Alex Paulsen: Joining the academy as a 15-year-old, Alex went onto join the Wellington Phoenix, where after completing his breakout season for the Nix completed a landmark move to the Premier League.
