Wellington Phoenix Academy

The Wellington Phoenix is New Zealand’s beloved professional football club, competing in the A-League. Our Wellington Phoenix Academy is a youth development system that creates pathways into professional football through our A-League Men’s (ALM) and A-League Women’s (ALW) teams.

We are dedicated to developing talented young footballers from all over New Zealand. Our proven youth development program combines football, personal growth, and education in an inspiring and creative environment.

Our success story

Since starting in 2013 with our Football School of Excellence Program (FSE), the Academy has been a launchpad for young talent. Over the years, the Academy has developed many players who have joined out club’s first teams, with many other successful graduates moving to professional clubs overseas. Our Academy

The Academy is located at the Ricoh Centre, Fraser Park, Lower Hutt, Wellington. Players must live in Wellington to join our full-time Academy program.
