ABOUT
Wellington Phoenix Academy
The Wellington Phoenix is New Zealand’s premier professional football club, competing in the A-League and developing future talent through our Academy. Our Academy provides pathways to professional football for young players, helping them progress to our A-League Men (ALM) and A-League Women (ALW) teams.
Dedicated to nurturing talent from across New Zealand, our youth development programme integrates football, personal growth, and education in an inspiring environment. With tailored programmes for various age groups, we focus on developing character, teamwork, and resilience, ensuring players grow both on and off the field.
We also prioritise education, working closely with schools to ensure players balance their academic and sporting ambitions. Many Academy graduates have successfully transitioned to professional football, demonstrating that with dedication, dreams can be achieved.
